Ben Bernanke’s Blog

Spammed by MoRons and Paultards

Bio & Blog

I began this blog as a dialog to engage other fine economic minds. Sadly, it’s devolved into politics, as MoRons (Ron Paul supporters, a fine term coined by Red State founder Erick Erickson) have infiltrated my comments. They’re very ungrateful, especially after I threw my analytic support behind the Ron Paulest position of global warming being good for the economy. Not only are they spamming me, but they’re spamming their own fellow RSS spammer John Carney.

Economics is a pristine science. It is to truth what politics is to spam. The Ron Paul supports are pretty much just spammers now as the Wall Street Journal has reported. I’ll have the Fed Reserve research department look into an algorithm that can filter them out.

John:

I am a school teacher of special needs children and I find it disgusting that you use offensive slang for those with "special needs" to create the term "PAULTARD". Any word that demeans those with special needs or the disabled in this negative way is disgusting. Anyone who uses these terms should be ashamed, and I urge people to stamp this out. Besides, can't you use an interlectual argument instead of name calling? A bit childish for a grown man eh?

Well someone has to spam for Paul just to even things out
since the main stream media and the infotainment racket has
to run a story every time Hillobaum and Guiliomney pick their
noses or takes a dump. Talk about spam. Their supposed to
be unbiased professional journalists. Ron Paul's biggest nuisance
comes from young kids who have never participated in politics
before. You wine about the apathy of the youth and then when
they get excited about something you run them down. Go
take a jump in one of your piles of cash.
