Number one bad idea for the summer? Leaving your kids in the car. This is a really bad idea. It’s not at all a good idea, like Ocean’s 13 was a good idea, or like adding a sweet gherkin to your sandwich is a good idea.
One parent said he just forgot the baby was in there. Look, I don’t drive, and I have a team of people who remember things for me like: “Don’t leave one of the babies in the car,” but I am pretty sure I would think to check and see if I had left one in the car.
I have, like, a thousand kids and it gets confusing, but it’s not like having a hundred bananas and accidentally forgetting your bananas in the car. Angie leaves me in the car all the time, but I’m a grown man. I can figure out how to get out of a locked car. The last time it took me an hour and 15 minutes, which was my personal best. I am good at getting out of places that Angie leaves me in, like Paris or LA. Bottom line, remember you have a child, even when you go somewhere in your car.
