The New York Times and other members of the so-called media have outlined what they say is my vision for the Middle East. There's some truth to what they say, in the sense that it's the officially disseminated version I instructed my spokespeople to discuss when asked. But it isn't the whole picture. That's the thing about media. It's like taking a snapshot with a finger over part of the lens. Do I want Israel to prevail against extremism and for Palestinians to eventually have a homeland? Of course. But that's only the first step.
The second step, of course, is Jewrabia, which isn't a political organization at all but an entertainment metroplex that would sit on the border between Israel and its eventual Palestinian neighbor. In Jewrabia, children from both cultures would ride the Ferris Wheel of Tolerance, scream with delight on the Roller Coaster of Tolerance, and draw a bead on exaggerated but harmless caricatures of each other in the Shooting Gallery of Tolerance. I'll be an old man by then, but I have already pledged to visit Jewrabia once a year and eat the delicious Half-Jewish, Half-Arab cotton candy that scientists inside my FDA are designing as we speak. It'll taste like geftile fish and hummus. It'll taste like freedom.
