Today is the first day of Movember, a worldwide charity event where men grow mustaches to raise money for prostate cancer. Corporate goodwill like this makes me take a deep breath and say…WHAT KIND OF ESSENTIAL CAPITAL SPENDING ARE YOU FOREGOING FOR THIS CHARITY BULLSHIT???

By contrast, they mention that in Australia, where the event was invented, everyone, even CEOs, don scruffy muff brooms. Hey, media, how can you compare Wall Street to a wacky island that loves “vegemite,” “regulation,” and “consumer protection laws?” You can’t expect their CEOs to relate directly to our Corporate Leaders … their toilets flush backwards!
