So a few weeks ago Samuel L forwarded me this YouTube link of a bunch of inmates at a prison in the Philippines performing Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.”

and I have to say I was a little pissed off okay, not super pissed, right, but just a little bit because I already had a totally similar idea for my next film, only it was going to be the reverse. My next film was going to be about a bunch of guys in
prison who are trying to get revenge on the guy who they think set them up after he slipped up on the outside, only I was going to have the prisoners played by actors, instead of having actors played by prisoners, like in this clip okay, and there would be this one really intense scene, just crazy, right, where the protagonist was about get raped in the shower but instead he shivs the guy and there’s blood all over the walls and and and it’s really graphic with all kinds of blood and the guy’s just screaming, right, just FUCKING SCREAMING HIS FACE OFF

and then as he walks out of the shower room we see a front facing shot of Jimmy and the guy who tried to rape him is in the background and blurry, just writhing around and then Jimmy says, without even looking back: “you’re sweet, but I just don’t think it’s gonna work out between us.” And he walks forward out of the shot and the guy in the shower comes in to focus and there’s blood and screaming and water and maybe some people watching.

Well I guess that doesn’t sound that similar, but I did I mention that
Jimmy was going to be played by Vincent Price? Well he was, okay.

Anyway, the prison clip’s pretty good I guess, but it needed more violence.
